Ok, it is my turn to put my two cents in. The 20 year reunion surpassed my expectations by leaps and bounds! I will agree with those who said Whitey's was crowded;it was challenging to hear people at times and manuever through the crowd. However, I did not allow all that commotion to stop me from having fun and connecting with old friends.
Saturday night at Sanders was a great experience! Kim and his staff went out of their way catering to our needs. At my table alone the waiter found an alternative desert for someone who was lactose intolerant, but had never made it known. The staff also informed us Kim had freshly cooked one indviduals meal at the last minute because the person had an olive oil intolerance they also had never shared. I can't say I am aware of many other places that would have been so accomodating.
I support the idea of meeting in a more laid back atmosphere one of the nights during our next reunion. You have my vote for Sanders again for the second night.
Merilee, I support your husbands choice. Each time I move away something about Grand Forks draws me home. Although the big world is slowly creeping in, Grand Forks remains in a bubble from the rest of the world. We would love to have you and your family come home!

Hi Everyone!
I hope everyone is now fully recovered from our weekend! What a fabulous time!
I took Kim's advice, and I am in the process of making a memory album from our reunion. If anyone is interested, the cost will be around $25 for a 7x5 paper softcover album. If anyone would prefer a hardcover, the cost goes up considerably to $55 for a hard cover 11x8.5.
I am listing all classmates, then having pics from Friday, Sat picnic, and Sanders. Let me know if you have any pics that you would like included, and I'll see what I can do. Right now, I am taking the pictures off our website. Here is my e-mail shumatem@cableone.net
Take care,
Michelle Shumate

On this date back in 1990, one of my musical heros Stevie Ray Vaughan, played his final performance at Alpine Valley in East Troy Wisconsin.
In the early morning hours on August 27, Stevie was tragically killed along with four others in a helicopter crash.
Stevie Ray Vaughan wasn't just a great musician, he was a great person, especially the last four years of his life after he overcome a serious substance abuse problem.
That's why he was and continues to remain one of my personal heros.

And a good guitar player to boot.
On my profile, you will find a player. I put 5 of my original songs on there (to listen just click the songs tab, the first one plays automatically). If anyone has a listen and like any of what you hear, I would be honored if you added your email to the mailing list. (no, no SPAM, I HATE spam!!!), you just become a "fan". I am currently 1272 out of 14928 on the alternative charts on reverbnation.com, and would like to move up. :) If not, that is cool, too!
You know it has been a a few weeks since the reunion and it feels like it was a dream! I am not sure what I can do to assist in the 25 yr reunion, but let me know, and I will do my best! :)

Only time will tell....Thank you for asking Tam

I have some VERY, VERY sad news. Jeff Lundeby's wife, Andrea passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Her maiden name was Andrea Gjerset and she graduated from Red River in 1989. I have some pictures of Jeff and Andrea under my profile. Jeff and Andrea were high school sweethearts. Please keep Jeff and their children, Alexandra and Jacob in your prayers.
